Our findings
After conducting a round of data inquiries, we discovered this website which allows people to search for shops that offer free meals. The search can be performed by selecting a project, or necessary supplies, or searching by administrative district. We found that there are significantly more shops in the northern region that offer suspended meals compared to other areas.
The impact of information services on society has inspired a new idea to address the issue of food waste. We propose combining information services with food sharing to create a platform that can quickly and conveniently connect food donors with those in need.
